This morning when I stepped outside I noticed animal footprints right under the bedroom window. Must have been a dog... but a very large dog as the prints were a big as my foot.
Xi Shi had to stop and smell every pile of seaweed... then she peed on it.
The Gulf was calm today.
I put out a chair so I could get some sun on my awful white legs but look who took my seat.
I had a neighbor to my left all day today. There were also people fishing to my right.
We walked to the brush and placed a Peace Rock as we are leaving in the morning.
Nice sunset.
It was a very relaxing day. Did a little reading but the lure of the waves kept me from concentrating so I just gave in and took many long walks. The sun warmed up the RV so nicely and made me very sleepy so I took a short nap this afternoon.
I'd like to stay longer but I'll stop back by on my way home.
I haven't parked my RV on a beach yet, but that looks like a nice place to stay.
ReplyDeleteHi Teri... Yes, it's a pretty good deal for a free beach. I'm a beach lover so I look for places to park my RV near the waves. I'm on my way to Port Aransas where there is another beach I like on Mustang Island.
DeleteBeautiful sunset shots! I've parked all day at beaches, but didn't stay the night. Must be nice to keep a window open and listen to the waves. I'd like that. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Barbara... Yes it is the best. Sleeping next to the waves breaking is tops with a night time campfire near the water's edge coming in second. Third would be having someone to share it with.
DeleteI have those same sandals! Wish I could find another pair, they are comfortable. Wonderful beach shots, love the sunset ones with your rig in them. And um...not only did she steal your chair, she seems quite happy about it!
ReplyDeleteHi Cyn... Those are my favorite shoes and they are falling apart but I wear them anyway. Can't find anymore exactly like them.
DeleteXi knows that is the chair I always ask her to sit in and I have the matching one that reclines. So the sweet little thing just thought that I put it out for her. I didn't want to take too many things out of the basement as I knew we weren't staying long so I just took out that one chair. She's having a great time on this trip.
