ON MY WAY TO FLORIDA

It's been 4 months since I've been on a trip in the motorhome.  I left home this morning around 10:00 and arrived at the Meaher State Park in Spanish Fort, Alabama around 3:00 this afternoon.  This park is right on Ducker Bay with lots of tall pine trees and a fishing pier and boat launch... very nice.

I'll only be here one night as I'm anxious to get to my destination in Gainesville, Florida to trade in my Coachmen for a Pleasure Way camper van.  I'm finally going to do it... but a little scared.  I don't know what I'll get on my trade in and really want one particular rv that is pretty expensive.  I'm hoping for the best deal I can get.

Took lots of photos of this campground but forgot my cable for transferring from my phone to my computer so no photos on the blog till I get back home.

This is a photo from the web.

I'll be leaving in the morning and my next stop is Torreya State Park in Bristol, Florida - about 4 hours from here.

  4. I hope you get the deal and the RV you want, I have been looking at Class B's, too. Now that I spend a lot of time in the city visiting my daughter and grand-daughter I'm thinking a class B would make more sense. And you are going towards better weather which is good, too.

  5. How exciting! I love your motor home - it's decorated so nicely and looks really comfortable. Someone is going to get a nice rig when they buy yours. BUT - I'm really looking forward to photos of the new home. Those Class B's look nice and would be so easy to drive and park anywhere. I hope you find the one you want and the transaction goes smoothly.
