ANOTHER REPAIR JOB COMPLETED

Well, today I took Gypsy to Camping World in Hammond to have vent covers installed on the roof and to fix the bathroom light. The cost was $140.55. There is just one more thing that is needed. The cover on the water intake compartment flew off when I brought it home from Florida. It had to be ordered from the Coachmen manufacturer. The closest Coachmen dealership is at Berryland Campers in Hammond. I ordered it and they will call me when it comes in. So far I've spent $3,075.61 on repairs and improvements for this coach since I brought it home.

  1. I just started reading your blog and I know this is an old posting but just had to comment. I did the same in 1995. Bought a rather older Minnie Winnie to live in . Had to spend about $3500 on repairs before i even started. Lived in it for 2 years and over the two years i replaced about every part you could !! LOL. Oh well, had a great trip !!! Now, fast forward and I am plannign to do it again soon. Only this time maybe longer then 2 years.

    1. Hi Sierra... Good luck to you on your new adventure. Yes, it seems that no matter if it is an old RV or a new one - it's always something that needs to be done to it and that costs money. Thanks for stopping by.
