I B MAGEE BEACH PARK - DAY 12 - THE ART OF DOING NOTHING

Sure, we all know how to do nothing. We all know how to lay around and waste time. But many of us are too busy to do it much, and when we do it, our minds are often on other things. We cannot relax and enjoy the nothingness.  Doing nothing can be a waste of time, or it can be an art form.

I'm new at this art form but hope with more practice I will be a master at doing nothing.

... and I'm just playing in the sand.

    1. Hi Donna... Wouldn't that be counter-productive? If I give lessons then I wouldn't be doing nothing. LOL

  2. Agreed. It looks like an art form you are getting good at.

    1. Hi Chris... Yes, it would seem that way. I gave up on painting and reading and beach combing and now I just sit and contemplate the mysteries of the universe. Just kidding. That would REALLY be work.

Looking forward to our get-together tomorrow.

  3. I am sitting here talking to my daughter about how I have been not doing much lately - and then I see this blog. She said all the RV'ers are acting like lazy teenagers and lazy college kids, LOL.

    1. Hi Teri... What your daughter said may be true but we've earned the right to be lazy and have waited a long time to do it.

    1. Hi Cyn... You're right about that. And it's not as easy as you might think. It takes practice.
